MODELED FOR SUSTAINABILITY

-A long lasting experience for a long lasting product-

Sustainability, because the average consumer will only change a Keralite ® glass ceramic window every 10 years or more.

Sustainability, because closed fireplaces optimize the combustion and lower both the consumption of fuel and your expenses.

Sustainability, because it is an eco-friendly heating solution as it runs on renewable materials like gas or wood.

WHEN FINE CHEMISTRY MEETS CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY

- Fruit of a love story between two main well known Glass companies -

The recipe for glass-ceramic was discovered by our parent company CORNING thanks to the happy mistake of Dr. Donald Stookey in 1952.

The recipe is an extremely accurate mix of ingredients from around the world. Weighed at the grams for some, at the tons for others, they are going from a high temperatures melting tank to a thermal process called ceramization.

Taking it to the industrial level required a whole other level of knowledge of flat rolling brought in 1990 by SAINT-GOBAIN. Ever since then, the Eurokera Group and its transparent glass-ceramic division, KERAGLASS, works toward turning the glass ceramic manufacturing into art.
